China Day 4 - Hong Kong

Today was a travel day.  We got up early and were escorted to the airport by our travel guide, Duan.  She walked us all the way to the customs line and was so helpful during the past couple of days. She really made the Beijing trip nice.

We got to the airport about 10:30 and left Beijing after noon.  We had a nice flight to Hong Kong, and we decided to be daring so rather than taking the taxi to the hotel we took the train and then the bus to get there.  It was very easy and very clean and modern.

We didn't get many pictures today, as we didn't get to the hotel until 6pm - the Kowloon Shangri-La.  Lots of shopping and restaurants around and things look very expensive, especially when compared to Beijing.
